BIG ADVENTURES STARTS HERE

Music is at the heart of Pelican life. We aim to instil a lifelong joy of music-making, and our specialist music teacher leads our wonderful Pelican Singers—a choir open to all children in Years 1 and 2. Pupils learn to sing as part of a group, explore a wide repertoire and perform both within school and in the wider community, including heartwarming visits to local care homes.

From Year 1, pupils can also embark on individual instrumental lessons in piano, violin or recorder. Regular performance opportunities in assemblies help them to share their progress, build confidence and grow as young musicians.

Clubs & Trips

Educational visits to museums, wildlife attractions and other local destinations bring learning to life, helping children make meaningful connections between their learning and the world around them.
