BEYOND THE CLASSROOM

Clubs & Trips

Beyond the classroom, pupils are encouraged to make the most of a rich extra-curricular programme, with more than eighty clubs available. Lunchtimes include a choice of drop-in activities, while after-school clubs give children extra time to play, learn new skills and enjoy being with friends.

Many clubs are led by teachers and incur no extra charge, including Art, Coding, Drama, Engineering, Journalism, Quiz and a wide range of sports. Specialist coach-led clubs, such as Ballroom Dancing, Street Dance, Musical Theatre, Chess, Taekwondo, Tennis and Fencing are also available for an additional charge.

Trips and residential experiences are an important part of life at the Prep, giving children the chance to learn beyond the classroom, grow in independence and deepen friendships and confidence in new settings. Our Cambridge location offers rich opportunities for local visits, including trips to the Fitzwilliam Museum and the University Botanic Garden.

As pupils move through the School, residential experiences broaden their horizons further, from a Year 4 bushcraft adventure to a Year 5 trip to France, a Year 6 PGL residential and a ski trip to Italy.
