Welcome from the Head of Sixth Form

The Sixth Form is a unique stage in your education. It is a time to question, to think more independently, explore your interests in greater depth and prepare for the opportunities ahead.

As one of the UK’s highest-performing schools and Cambridge’s leading independent school academically, exceptional educational outcomes provide the foundation, but Sixth Form is about far more than excellent A level results. Drawing on Cambridge’s rich intellectual culture, we encourage students to explore ideas, question assumptions and develop the confidence and skills to thrive in a rapidly changing world.

With over 30 A level subjects to choose from, our flexible Sixth Form allows you to build a programme around your strengths, interests and ambitions. You’ll be taught in exceptionally small classes by expert teachers who know you as an individual, challenge your thinking and support your ambitions.

Whether your end goal is Oxford or Cambridge, medicine, engineering, the arts, an international university, a degree apprenticeship or a career yet to be imagined, our aim is simple: to help you discover what you are capable of and leave The Perse prepared for whatever comes next.
