SPACE TO FLOURISH

Our Spaces

A beautiful 25-acre campus within the city of Cambridge.

The Upper occupies a 25-acre, university-style campus, unusual for a city school, giving pupils exceptional space to learn, perform, compete and explore throughout their time with us.

Specialist classrooms, laboratories and creative spaces, alongside the award-winning Peter Hall Performing Arts Centre, two Sports Centres, a swimming pool and a climbing wall, floodlit all-weather pitches and dedicated Outdoor Education Centre, provide outstanding facilities for every aspect of school life.

It is a campus designed for growing independence: large enough to offer exceptional breadth, yet compact enough to foster a strong sense of community. As students progress through the School, they make increasing use of its facilities and prepare naturally for the greater independence of Sixth Form.

Beyond the campus, Cambridge itself becomes an extension of the classroom. Museums, colleges, research organisations, high-tech companies and visiting speakers encourage pupils to think beyond the curriculum and engage with the wider world.

If you cannot visit us in person, please take a look at our virtual 360 tour of The Perse Upper School.
