Our Spaces
At The Perse Pelican, learning and play extend well beyond the classroom. Our children have plenty of outdoor space to explore, be active, use their imaginations and spend time together as they progress from Nursery through to Year 2.
Nursery and Reception each have their own age-appropriate gardens, complete with nature areas, mud kitchens, slides and playhouses. Children can enjoy sand and water play, explore a range of open-ended construction activities and find plenty of opportunities to create, discover and play together.
All Pelican children benefit from a large outdoor playground, including a games pitch used for both playtimes and PE sessions. The area also includes a racing track and tricycles, climbing frames with scramble nets and poles, quieter areas for calm play and construction, and plenty of space to run, explore and have fun with friends.
