Perse Pelican pupils make a play date with history

Perse Pelican Reception children discovered how youngsters enjoyed playing through the ages during a special History of Toys Day.

They took part in a range of workshops where they had the chance to look at and play with traditional toys from wooden and metal vehicles to colourful hand and string puppets.

The pupils had a great time investigating the toys of yesteryear and finding out more about why they became so popular in their day.
