VALUED & SUPPORTED

Inclusion

The Perse Sixth Form is a diverse and welcoming community in which every student is encouraged to be themselves, express their views and value the experiences and perspectives of others.

Inclusion, equality and diversity are embedded across Sixth Form life, from the curriculum, assemblies and visiting speakers to pastoral support and co-curricular activities. Students explore questions of identity, equality, culture and social justice, developing the confidence to engage thoughtfully with complex issues and challenge prejudice and stereotypes.

Student-led groups and societies provide opportunities to share experiences, raise awareness and help shape the School community. Groups including Pride Society, Flourish and Perse Culture promote understanding, celebrate different identities and cultures, and encourage open, respectful discussion. Sixth Formers can also take on leadership roles, organise events and support younger pupils, ensuring that student voice plays a meaningful part in the life of the School.

The 2026 inspection identified the School’s approach to inclusion, equality and diversity as a significant strength, recognising how it helps pupils appreciate different perspectives, develop mutual respect and prepare extremely well for the future.

Further information about our approach, support and initiatives can be found on the Upper School inclusion, equality and diversity page.
