The Prep is a vibrant, energetic community where children develop academic curiosity, skills and knowledge alongside independence, perseverance and a sense of fun. It is a busy and buzzy place, offering stretch and challenge within an ethos rooted in kindness.
There is significant interest in the Prep, with entry points across all year groups. Usually, twenty-four places are available in both Year 3 and Year 6, with around three places available in both Year 4 and Year 5.
Children are offered places following a competitive entrance test in January and then take part in an induction process before joining in September.
Prep pupils do not sit a Year 7 entrance test to progress to The Perse Upper School. Instead, they can enjoy their final Prep year while building the confidence, independence and strong foundations they need for the opportunities ahead.
