CREATIVE ARTS

We relish every opportunity to allow the children to shine with the creative arts; there is no substitute for the friendships made and skills learned working together in an ensemble or company to create and stage a concert or production.

Every child performs in a production in each year group, building up towards Year 6 performing a triple cast musical over three nights including opportunities to join the technical and backstage teams.

75% of pupils have individual music lessons from a team of 16 expert music teachers, with most sitting ABRSM or Trinity exams each year. In addition, we run around 30 musical groups, including chamber ensembles, choirs and orchestras, with soloist concerts, form concerts and whole school concerts held at the Performing Arts Centre at the Upper.

Outdoor Education

Our aim is to provide Perse students with world-class standards of extra-curricular opportunity with a specific focus on developing transferable skills for later life.
