Parent Evenings & Webinars

Post-18 Options – Personalised Pathways
We have a consistent and outstanding track record across UK universities, including the most competitive institutions and courses, with students winning places across a broad range of disciplines.
Recent outcomes at a glance
Perse students achieve outstanding post-18 outcomes. Across recent years, around 87% of UCAS acceptances have been to Russell Group universities, with approximately 600 Russell Group offers each year. Students also receive around 120 G5 offers each year, and over 90% of acceptances have been to higher-tariff universities.
Our programme is also strong in competitive subjects, including 339 offers in medicine, dentistry and veterinary science across the last five application cycles.
The Oxbridge Pathway Programme
Running throughout Year 12, the Oxbridge Pathway Programme provides sustained, expert guidance tailored to the unique demands of an Oxbridge application.
- Personalised guidance on college and course selection, including open application considerations
- Subject-specific super-curricular reading lists and resource recommendations
- Admissions test preparation
- Oxbridge Review Meetings — individual assessment of readiness and application strategy

Medicine, Dentistry & Veterinary Medicine
Applying to medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine is among the most demanding and competitive processes in higher education. We provide expert, specialist support to every student pursuing these pathways, drawing on our institutional knowledge and close network of alumni working in healthcare and veterinary practice.
- Early guidance on work experience requirements — what counts, how to find it, and how to reflect on it meaningfully
- UCAT preparation and timed practice sessions
- Guidance on the additional requirements of the UCAS medical, dental and veterinary timeline
- Personal statement support tailored to the specific expectations of medical, dental and veterinary schools
- Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) preparation — including practice stations, ethical dilemmas and clinical scenarios
- Panel interview preparation for institutions using traditional interview formats
- Medical school open day planning — helping students identify and visit the right range of institutions
We have an excellent and consistent track record in placing students at leading medical schools, dental schools and veterinary colleges.

A growing number of our students choose to study outside the UK, and we provide comprehensive support for those exploring universities in the United States, Canada, Europe and beyond. Recent international destinations and offers have included Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Brown, Georgia Tech, McGill, University of British Columbia, Sciences Po, Bocconi, Leiden, Hokkaido, Trinity College Dublin, MIT, Stanford, the University of Hong Kong and the University of Toronto. An introductory presentation for parents and students sets out the landscape, and individual guidance is available throughout.

Degree Apprenticeships
Degree apprenticeships are an ambitious, rigorous and increasingly prestigious pathway — combining full degree-level study with paid employment and professional accreditation. We actively champion degree apprenticeships as a genuine and exciting alternative to the traditional university route, and our students have secured places with some of the UK’s most sought-after employers including Dyson, Deutsche Bank, EY and Deloitte.
We give families a thorough introduction to the degree apprenticeship landscape. Degree apprenticeship opportunities are also covered during the Post-18 Options Evening.
Personalised Support
At the heart of the Sixth Form programme is individual guidance. Every student in Years 12 and 13 works closely with our dedicated Futures team, receiving tailored support that reflects their specific ambitions, academic profile and application timeline. Guidance is proactive and continuous — students are not left to find their way alone.
Students continue to build their Unifrog profile throughout the sixth form, recording super-curricular activities, reading, work experience, volunteering and other achievements. This not only supports applications but also helps students articulate what makes them distinctive.
The tutorial and PSHE programme in the sixth form covers:
- Networking skills and the professional use of LinkedIn
- Workplace dilemmas, rights and expectations
- Financial planning, wages, tax and National Insurance
- Student loans, university budgeting and managing money at university
- Gap year planning and travel
- UCAS course search, personal statement drafting and revision
- Job applications, pitching and presentation skills
