Top marks for Perse student in major maths competition

It all added up to success for Ryan (Year 10) as he achieved the highest mark in the region in the Intermediate Maths Olympiad.

Ryan scored a total of 52 out of 60 to record the top score in his year group in the East of England on his way to earning a Distinction and a Gold medal for his excellent results.

He was one of 44 Perse pupils from Years 8 to 11 who took part in the competition, following their excellent performances in the Intermediate Maths Challenge.

They achieved an outstanding total of seven Distinctions and 21 Merits, with Jianzhou (Year 10, Silver), Akshith, Zoe (both Year 11, Bronze) and James (Year 8, Bronze) also securing Medals, placing them in the top 100 nationally in their respective age groups.
