Legend brought to life by Perse Prep actors

Year 5 Centre Stage actors put on a Legend-ary performance for their latest enchanting production.

Written by Perse Prep Assistant Head (Academic) Tobias Bown, with original songs from Prep Director of Music Paul Harris and Eddie Copeland, Legend took the audience to the mythical kingdom of Avlin, where everything seems perfect.

However, it emerges that an evil sorceress placed a curse on the kingdom when she stole the Enchanted Crown and only by retrieving it from the dragon who guards it can the hex be lifted.

A group of courageous children go on a quest to retrieve the crown, meeting a range of colourful characters along the way.

As well as learning regular acting skills through taking part in Legend, the brilliant Centre Stage stars also used elements of physical theatre to bring the fantasy epic to life with the ensemble cast becoming forests and rivers.
