Moo-sical fun with Perse Pelican production

Lots of floral fun was brought to the stage by Perse Pelican Year 1 youngsters in their charming production of There’s a Sunflower in my Supper!

This marvellous moo-sical centred around Daisy the cow, who has a dream of growing a glorious garden full of flowers, trees, fruit and vegetables.

However, the grumpy Mr Bull and the other cattle only want to grow grass for their supper and they send Daisy to market with strict instructions to only buy grass seeds.

On her way back to the farm, Daisy finds a mysterious seed and hides it away to grow in secret, but nothing happens after she plants it – until Wise Old Owl tells her what seeds to grow.

Thankfully, Mr Bull and the other cows come around to the idea of having some delicious colourful flowers for their supper.
