Old Perseans return to The Perse for annual cricket match

Old Perseans returned to The Perse for a fantastic afternoon of cricket, taking on the First XI in a closely fought match.

Played in beautiful weather, the game was competitive throughout, with the First XI eventually securing a narrow victory. The match brought together former pupils, current players, parents and staff, celebrating the School’s strong cricketing tradition and providing a chance for the wider Perse community to reconnect.

After the match, players and supporters gathered for a BBQ before the presentation of cricket awards to current pupils, including Colours, Player of the Season and the Adu Nathan Award for Outstanding Commitment to Boys’ and Girls’ Cricket.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make it such a memorable afternoon, both on and off the field.
