The Perse School Singapore set to open

We are delighted to announce that The Perse School (Singapore) will be opening in January 2025.
After winning a competitive tender process run by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and the Singapore Land Authority (SLA), The Perse Singapore will open its junior section (3-11) in January 2025 and extend to the senior school (11-18) in 2026 on a redeveloped campus at 58 Chestnut Drive, Singapore.
The Perse Singapore will be a co-educational 3-18 school for 1,400 students, following the International Cambridge curriculum until IGCSE.
The four core values of The Perse – intellectual curiosity and scholarship, endeavour, breadth and balance, and care for one another and our environment – will form the heart of the school’s ethos. They will underpin everything at the school, guiding the curriculum and teaching style, the rigorous academic standards and ensuring a well-rounded education.
Students will be prepared holistically for the challenges and opportunities of the future with the school’s curriculum equipping them with academic rigour, critical thinking, problem-solving and leadership skills.
Significant redevelopments are taking place at the campus to create a state-of-the art learning environment, with facilities that will include modern classrooms, a multi-purpose sports field and specialised arts, music and drama learning spaces.
The school will be independently owned and operated. The Perse School Cambridge International (TPSCI) will support the design and setting up of the school and the ongoing running of the school, ensuring the successful transfer of the Perse ethos, values and curriculum.

Johan Stromsater is the CEO of The Perse Singapore, having previously been CEO of the Canadian International School in Singapore.
He is joined by Dan Cross (pictured left) as Principal, who takes on the role having worked at The Perse School Cambridge for 24 years, most recently as Senior Deputy Head, and Kephren Sherry as Deputy Head and Head of Pelicans and the Junior School., who has 28 years’ education experience with 12 years in the international education system.
We wish them well in their exciting new posts.
