Perse students achieve highest marks in the country across multiple subjects

Several Perse students have achieved the highest marks nationally in their respective OCR qualifications, including GCSE and A level Geography, Ancient History and Music.

Perse students have once again achieved exceptional success in national examinations, with several students recording the highest marks in the country across a range of OCR qualifications.

In OCR GCSE Geography, one Perse student achieved the highest mark nationally among the 5,645 candidates who sat the qualification. Of those candidates, just 292 were awarded a grade 9, including 80 Perse students.

The School also celebrated success in OCR A level Geography, where a Perse student achieved the top mark nationally from a cohort of more than 4,500 candidates.

Further recognition came in OCR Ancient History, with another Perse student achieving the highest mark in the country.

Meanwhile, a Year 10 student achieved full marks in OCR Music GCSE, a qualification taken by more than 7,000 candidates nationwide.

These remarkable achievements highlight the depth of academic talent across the School and the enthusiasm with which Perse students engage in their studies. They are also a testament to the dedication of staff who encourage students to pursue their interests with ambition, curiosity and confidence.

Congratulations to all the students and teachers involved in these outstanding accomplishments.
