Bus Services
The school bus service is an efficient, cost-effective and environmentally-friendly way to travel to school.
The school will continue to run buses to and from the school on the following routes in 2023-24.
The bus routes below run at the beginning and end of the school day unless otherwise stated.
| Route 1: Cambourne – Madingley P&R – Perse Prep – Perse Upper |
| Route 2: Royston – Melbourn – Harston – Trumpington P&R – Perse Prep – Perse Upper |
| Route 3: Cambridge Railway Station – Perse Prep (Service only runs in the mornings and is only available to Prep pupils. Priority is given to passengers travelling by train) |
| Route 4: Prep – Upper (Service only runs after school and is for Prep pupils only) |
The following travel options are available – mornings only, afternoons only or return journeys. Places on the bus must be booked for the whole term either mornings, afternoons or returns. Unfortunately, it is not possible to accommodate different travel arrangements on different weeks, and places are booked all week (Monday to Friday) for the whole of the term.
Bookings are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Every effort is made to accommodate all pupils who wish to travel by bus, but no guarantee can be made, especially if an application is received close to the start of term. All our drivers are DBS-checked and our staff are on hand to supervise pupils getting on the school bus at the end of the day.
