Welcome
Sixth Form

The Sixth Form is part of the Upper School and welcomes students aged 16-18 years.

Within our co-educational day school, Sixth Form students are a diverse, intelligent and creative group who are ambitious and work hard.

We encourage students to reflect our school values in every area of their lives. Perse pupils aim high, love learning and care for one another and the environment.

Each year between 30-40 external students join us from a wide range of schools and colleges.

Our students consistently produce many of the best A level results in the country with many gaining places at their first-choice university.

A number of students head abroad to prestigious international universities, including the Ivy League institutions of Princeton and Yale in the USA.

Just as importantly as our academic curriculum, which includes the Extended Project Qualification and Rouse Research Award, is our extra-curriculum and enrichment programme which you can read about on our website and in our prospectus.

We recognise that the Sixth Form years are vitally important stepping stones into adulthood, with all of the challenges that brings. Our pastoral provision sits at the heart of our school to ensure every young person has the support they need to thrive.

Our Head of Sixth Form is Guy Couper-Marsh.

Our Upper School, including Sixth Form, is led by our Head, Ed Elliott.

Pupils’ attitudes to learning are extremely well developed. They are highly attentive, demonstrate initiative, independence and support each other’s learning most effectively.
