Perse Pelican children strut their stuff for Children in Need

Perse Pelican children got into the groove as they put on their dancing shoes to raise funds for BBC Children in Need.
Every class took a turn at moving their feet to the beat as part of a danceathon, combined with a school disco at lunchtime, with the aim of pupils cutting a rug for a cumulative total of 72 hours – three whole days of dancing!
Pupils looked super stylish as they swayed to the rhythm, wearing fancy dress on the theme ‘I am Special’ with expressing individuality encouraged.
Each child also received accessories featuring Children in Need mascot Pudsey Bear as they took part in classroom activities to help them learn more about the importance of donating to charity.
Meanwhile, parents held a bake sale to help raise funds for the annual appeal, which supports disadvantaged youngsters across the country.
