Perse Pelican pupils soar into Stansted
Year 1 Perse Pelican children were up in the clouds after an exciting trip to Stansted Aerozone.
They visited Stansted Airport’s education centre having recently studied aviation pioneers Orville and Wilbur Wright as part of their topic on inventors and inventions.
Pupils had the chance to see aeroplanes taking off and landing from the viewing platform and got to look behind the scenes as they learned about Stansted and its history, as well as dressing up in airport uniforms.
