Marvellous Myths and Legends Day at Perse Prep
Classical tales from around the world set the scene for a magical Myths and Legends Activity Day at The Perse Prep.
Children had a great time taking part in a Greek Olympics-style tournament, where they had to evade the likes of Cerberus, Charybdis and Polyphemus, while hopping in the style of Achilles or balancing the world such as Atlas.
They also created vibrant Roman mosaics and enjoyed listening to traditional myths from Japan, Australia and North America.
Youngsters also learned dances from Viking, Polynesian, Amazonian and Egyptian mythology with the whole school coming together for a performance at the end of an exciting day.
