2022-23 Perse Aristotelian Award essay competition launched
Following the success of the inaugural Aristotelian Award competition, The Perse is once again inviting youngsters nationwide to display their intellectual curiosity.
The Aristotelian Award research essay competition is aimed at Year 9 pupils across the UK.
The competition is divided into two sections – arts/humanities and sciences – with a choice of five essay titles in each category ready to be tackled.
Cash prizes are on offer with the winners of each category receiving £70. Four pupils in each category will be highly commended and receive £20 each.
Perse Head of Research Matt Fox said: “We are really excited to launch this year’s Aristotelian Award research essay competition for Year 9 students across the UK.
“We hope that amongst the 10 questions, there is a title that interests everyone and this opportunity will help students develop their research skills.
“Do check out the resources page on our brand new Perse Research Website over the coming weeks where we will keep adding advice and information to help students with their research.”
You can find details of the competition on our Perse Research Website here.
Entries should be submitted via our online form by the closing date of 5pm on Monday 20 February 2023.
