Marvellous Medieval History Day for Perse Prep pupils
Year 5 pupils enjoyed experiencing life in medieval times as part of a special History Day.
The event, which formed part of their study of medieval Britain, helped extend the children’s knowledge while also being great fun.
Pupils were introduced to Lady Catherine, who told them about life in the Middle Ages, before taking part in workshops to understand medieval traditions and customs.
Rounding off the day, children marched on to the Leighton Lawn battlefield and took part in an exciting historical re-enactment.
