Burwell fun for Perse Pelican children
A wonderful start to the Summer term was had by Year 2 Perse Pelican pupils as they took a trip to Burwell House.
They had a great time enjoying a day of team building and outdoor activities on their first day back at school after the Easter break.
Children partnered up to take part in the blindfolded Burwell Challenge, as well as having a go at orienteering in the magnificent grounds and batik art in the Bramwell Barn.
Hot chocolate, sausage rolls and toasted marshmallows around the campfire proved to be popular, while Pelicans also enjoyed a barbecue lunch followed by ice lollies!
