The Perse named top independent school in East Anglia

The Perse School has been named the top independent secondary school in East Anglia in Parent Power, The Sunday Times Schools Guide 2022.
The latest edition of Parent Power identifies the highest-achieving schools in the UK, ranked by exam results from 2017 to 2019.
Rankings have been determined by the average percentage of exam entries gaining A* to B at A level, which are given double weighting in the Parent Power assessment, and 9 to 7/A* to A grades at GCSE across the three-year period.
Exam outcomes in 2020 and 2021 have not been used in producing the league tables. The Perse led the way in the regional independent school rankings with an average of 94.7% entries graded A* to B at A level and 92.6% of GCSE results graded 9 to 7/A* to A.
The results mean The Perse, which prides itself on providing a rounded 3D education, focusing on academic, pastoral and extra-curricular dimensions, is also ranked 15th nationally.
Parent Power can be viewed online by Times and Sunday Times subscribers here, while a Parent Power supplement will also be published with The Sunday Times on Sunday (5 December).
