The Perse expands family of schools

We are delighted to welcome The Perse School Suzhou to the family of Perse Schools.

The Perse School Suzhou opened on 1 September with 68 pupils. The school is sited in the very heart of the ancient city, less than 25 minutes by high speed train from central Shanghai. The Perse School Suzhou will teach Cambridge IGCSE and IA levels, along with some bespoke Perse curriculum, to Chinese and international students of high school age (15+), as well as a bilingual curriculum to children of middle school age (11+). The School is ultimately preparing students for international qualifications and in turn international universities.

Naomi Atkins, Founding Principal of The Perse School Suzhou, said of the opening: “We are delighted to finally see the students on campus and to see them enjoying their learning experience.”

There are now three Perse schools – The Perse School Cambridge, The Perse School Suzhou and The Perse School Singapore. The Perse School Singapore opened in January 2020 and there are currently 120 pupils (aged five to 11) at the School. The campus is at Upper Bukit Timah, a residential area in Singapore, and across from Bukit Timah nature reserve.

The Perse international schools share The Perse’s vision (to love learning and strive for the greater good) and values of intellectual curiosity and scholarship, endeavour, breadth and balance, and respect for one another and our environment.

The international schools will give Perse pupils and staff greater international exposure and will provide opportunities for collaborative working, exchanges and visits.

The Perse School Cambridge International works with partners to establish excellent international schools around the world.

We are delighted to finally see the students on campus and to see them enjoying their learning experience.
