Perse pupils excelled with their performance in the Intermediate Maths Olympiad.
Sixteen pupils from Years 9 to 11 qualified for the competition following excellent results in the Intermediate Maths Challenge earlier this year.
Of those, six were awarded prizes for coming in the top 50 in the country in their respective age groups – Daniel Chen, Emma Harris, Hongli Hu (all Year 11), Mabel Symes (Year 10), Steven Kong and Neelkantha Mukherjee (both Year 9).
In addition, Distinctions were achieved by Arthur Depledge, Tom Hammond (both Year 9) and Yunlin Chen (Year 11).
Perse Maths Competitions Co-ordinator Vesna Kadelburg, who runs the school’s Maths Olympiad Club, said: “This level of success requires dedication and perseverance. I am so proud of our students for sticking with Maths Club all the way through home learning and working together to achieve these incredible results.”
