Renowned engineering scholarships earned by Perse students
8 Dec 2020
A group of Perse students have been awarded illustrious Arkwright Engineering Scholarships that recognise their potential in being future leaders in engineering and technical design.
Having applied during Year 11, Ewan Smith, Nikhil Karun, Tom Davies and Harry Irvin (all Lower Sixth), plus Josh Seed (2020), have each gained the renowned scholarships, which provide them with a £600 award to boost their A level studies as well as a variety of activities to help their understanding and experience of engineering.
To earn their scholarships, they had to successfully complete a rigorous selection process that included a detailed application form and a two-hour aptitude exam. As a result of their achievements, they are all now being sponsored by high-tech Cambridge engineering firm Arm Holdings.
