School Fees Information
All Perse parents were sent a letter from the Chair of Governors on Tuesday 31 March relating to school fees. Please check your PersePost account for full details.
The Perse is aware that the Covid-19 pandemic is causing financial hardship for many families.
Emergency bursaries are available to pupils who were already at The Perse (Pelican, Prep or Upper) during the academic year 2019-20. With regret we are unable to offer emergency bursaries to pupils due to join the school at a future date.
If you would like further information in order to apply for a means-tested emergency bursary, please contact Bursary-Application@perse.co.uk
A copy of the school’s bursary policy is available in the policy area of the website.

Perse Bursary Scheme and the Principles Underlying Emergency Bursaries
After careful consideration, the decision has been taken that the school bus service and the daily shuttle buses between Prep/Pelican and Prep/Upper will not resume in the Michaelmas term 2020.
This decision has been taken with regret, but The Perse has concluded that the operation of a bus service which brings together in close proximity children from different year groups and different Perse schools is not consistent with the bubble infection control measures recommended to combat Covid-19.
The situation will remain under review and the school is committed to reinstating the bus service and shuttle buses as soon as reasonably possible.
We recognise that this information will be disappointing for some parents, who have relied on the bus service previously, but we hope that by providing advance notice parents will have time to make alternative travel arrangements for the Michaelmas term.
Tours of the Pelican, Prep and Upper (including Sixth Form) are currently on hold. We hope to resume tours later in the year.
However, we are planning to hold an Upper open event on Saturday 26 September followed by open events at the Pelican and Prep on Saturday 3 October. The Sixth Form open evening is set to take place on Wednesday 21 October.
Applications to join the Pelican, Prep and Upper in September 2021 close on 1 December 2020.
Applications for entry into the Lower Sixth in September 2021 is 9 November 2020.
If you have any urgent questions regarding school admissions for the Upper, please email email@example.com
Questions regarding admissions to the Prep should be emailed to Prephmsec@perse.co.uk and for the Pelican email PelicanSchoolSec@Perse.co.uk
Visitors to the school
The school is taking very proactive measures to protect the health and wellbeing of our pupils and staff.
In light of the government’s latest advice, we are restricting all visitors to our school site.
Please do not come to the school if you or anyone in your immediate family is experiencing symptoms detailed on the NHS coronavirus information page which can be found here.
If you do need to come onto the school site, you will be asked to use hand gel on arrival and encouraged to regularly wash your hands. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation at this time.
