Perse pupils have fun trying inclusive sports at special event
12 Mar 2020
A group of 12 Year 9 Perse pupils sampled a range of adaptive sports during a special Power2Inspire event at Cambridge University Sports Centre
The youngsters involved in the event had raised the most money for the charity, which aims to make sport inclusive for disabled people, from taking part in a sponsored ‘inclusive kilometre’ during last summer’s Year 8 PowerHouse Games Day at The Perse.
They joined in teams with pupils from The Netherhall School and Castle School, as well as members of Cambridge University Cricket Club, and had fun taking part in a variety of adaptive sports including sitting netball, New Age Kurling, boccia, table cricket and walking football.
