Anti-bullying Ambassadors lead by example with teacher training session
A group of Upper School students have performed a series of scenes aimed at highlighting the complexities of bullying for a teacher training session.
With over one hundred staff in attendance, the after school training schedule included the anti-bullying ambassadors’ (ABA) workshop, a session on teenage mental health and a course on one-to-one tutoring.
Theatre Director in Residence Matt Hawksworth said the scenes were aimed at creating, “immersive workshops that make teachers more aware of students’ perspectives, find a middle ground and create a two-way dialogue.”
The Perse School is committed to pupil well-being and has an extensive pastoral support programme, where pupils and teachers work together to share ideas and learn from one another.
