Students hopeful for selection in Shakespeare Competition
Around 70 Year 9 students have entered the English Speaking Union Shakespeare competition, by performing monologues from a wide range of Shakespeare’s plays.
The competition gives students the opportunity to recite and perform their chosen piece at school, which is then recorded and sent to a panel of judges.
Amelie Fawcett and Lewis Long are hoping their interpretations will be a favourite with the judges. What do you think?
