The Perse School

264 pupils showcase their musical talents

On Wednesday evening 264 Upper school pupils took to the stage in one of the School’s largest ever Ensemble Concerts.

Featuring an eclectic mix of music from Michael Jackson and Duke Ellington to Mendelssohn and Strauss, an appreciative audience enjoyed performances from Wind Bands 2 and 3, Perse and Intermediate Strings, Perse Sinfonietta, the Big and Swing Bands, Senior Percussion Ensemble and Perse Voices.

Assistant Director of Music, Ben Wingfield said “It was great to see participation from a full quarter of the School’s pupil body – proof that large-scale music-making is thriving at The Perse!”
