Our Japanese exchange school from Amagasaki, Kobe in Japan, visited The Perse for one week at the beginning of December.
They enjoyed various activities with their home-stay families, including a trip to Harry Potter Studios and a day trip to London, where they went to a performance of the musical, Wicked. They also immersed themselves in Perse lessons, making keyrings in a technology lesson, and enjoyed the festive delights of the School’s carol service at St John’s College Chapel. The group also had the opportunity to explore the sights and sounds of Cambridge, where they visited the Fitzwilliam Museum, King’s College and St Mary’s Tower, and they were also lucky enough to visit the mayor at the Town Hall.
In April (which is cherry blossom time in Japan), our students will visit their exchange partners in Japan, where they are very much looking forward to experiencing Japanese school life and various attractions in Kyoto, Kobe, Nara and Osaka.
