The Perse holds physics workshop
Last week, the Physics Department hosted an Isaac Physics problem-solving workshop on ‘Exponentials in Physics’. This exciting event was attended by over 50 students and staff from eight schools inCambridge and schols from as far away as Leicester and Bedford also joined us.
The evening began with an introduction to exponentials and their use to solve problems in physics. Students then worked in groups to solve challenging problems well beyond the scope of the Sixth Form syllabus. The event finished with a plenary session, which gave students a taste of how exponentials are useful in science beyond school.
