French trip to Boulogne
Earlier this week, 75 Year 7 pupils and 11 members of staff visited Boulogne-Sur-Mer, in the north of France, for an exciting day of visits and activities. We all met bright and early to depart from school at 5am. When we arrived in Boulogne at 11am, the pupils were able to wander around the town centre and the ‘vieille ville’ to complete a town trail in their allocated groups. After a quick lunch sitting in the sunshine, we all headed to the Nausicaá Sea Life Centre to see biology in action. Last but not least, we then split into two groups: one group learnt some interesting facts about snails at the Escargot, mon ami snail farm while the other group tested their crêpe flipping skills at Le Pain Show. After a busy day, our crossing back to England was slightly delayed; however, we still managed to make our way back to the school before midnight, exhausted but full of good memories.
