The Perse School

Perse student art showcased in local surgery

Year 9 art students have been working hard to create a series of art works on the theme of ‘chance scientific discoveries’, as a way of communicating science through art. This artwork was then entered into a competition to be judged by Dr Barnard from the Cambridge City Centre Medical Practice. Twenty pieces of artwork were shortlisted for public display in the surgery’s waiting room.

Maya Ramsey was selected as the overall winner of the competition, and will receive a prize from the surgery. Students, family and friends can see this beautiful work on display at the exhibition at the Boots store on Petty Cury, Cambridge.
