Perse pupils take on a challenge
26 Jan 2015
In each of their fortnightly assemblies, Year 7 and Year 8 are set a challenge by their heads of year, Emily Nesbitt and Dani Creese. Some challenges as fun, such as spreading the Christmas spirit or decorating their form rooms. Others more thoughtful for example, getting to know members of their form they don’t know well or doing something to make someone smile.
The first challenge of the new year and new term was for pupils to think of something they would each like to achieve, despite obstacles that might get in their way. Pupils’ personal challenges have been many and varied, from raising money for charity and completing the Three Peaks Challenge, to scoring a century in cricket and becoming a leader in their scout group.
We wish Year 7 and Year 8 the best of luck in successfully completing their challenges!
