U14C boys’ hockey team celebrate unbeaten season

The U14C boys’ hockey team has rounded-off a superb season by winning the LUPOSS league (made-up of six schools, each of whom plays each other twice over the course of the Michaelmas term) and emerging unbeaten.

The team has trained hard and made terrific improvement since September, and the season’s record (P: 10 W: 9 D: 1 L: 0) and goal tally (For: 42; Against: 12) makes for impressive reading. There were some stand-out individual performances as well as some good cohesive team-play, and the boys certainly look set to make a big impact at U15 level next year.

Highlight of the season? Quite possibly the celebratory stop-off at McDonald’s on the way back from the team’s last fixture.
