The Great Perse Bake Off
Ready… set … bake! Students have donned their aprons, dug out their whisks and sieves and have got creative in the kitchen for the Great Perse Bake Off.
Organised by the Lower Sixth Charities Committee, this morning at break-time, the students’ fantastic creations were critiqued by our very own panel of Bake Off judges, including Head of The Perse Ed Elliott, Anne Cunningham from the Art Department and Deputy Head of Extra-Curricular, Sarah Richardson.
Prizes were awarded as follows for the ‘Star Bakers’:
Best tasting bake: Tatiana Vandermark & Nicole Yip (Year 8)
Most Christmassy – Edward Gaskarth (Year 7)
Most visually stunning: Amy Windsor (Year 10)
Highly commended for taste: Lucy Howard (Year 10)
Highly commended for most visually stunning: Salvador Buse (Lower Sixth)
Retro Award: Jai Gu (Lower Sixth)
These wonderful cakes and bakes will be on sale at the Christmas Fair today to raise money for the School bursary fund and a charity supporting Dalit children.
Well done to everyone who took part.
