Extreme Reading at The Perse
Over the summer holiday, pupils (and staff!) were encouraged to take part in the Extreme Reading Challenge, which is organised by the Library. This fantastic competition has been running at The Perse for many years, where students take a photo of themselves reading a book in the most unusual setting possible. With pupils venturing near and far over the summer break, this year’s extreme reading locations were many and varied.
This year’s winner was Year 8 pupil, Archie Crowne who holidayed in the Grand Canyon in the USA, where this excellent picture was taken. He also happened to be reading The Grand Canyon River Guide – the perfect book for this extreme reading picture!
