Junior General Knowledge Team through to national finals
The Perse’s Junior General Knowledge Team is through to the national finals of Schools’ Challenge following a convincing win in the inter-regional round.
The team of Phoebe Penfold, Daniel Morgan, Ethan Martin and Vikram Singh, together with squad members Tabbi Dodds and Pavan Tanna, journeyed to Sleaford this afternoon to play Carre’s Grammar School (whose Headmaster, coincidentally, is Old Persean Nick Law). The Perse put in a strong performance to beat the home team 1090-470 and as a result go through to the national finals to be held at Hereford Cathedral School on 22 June.
The School is in with a chance of scoring the double; the Senior Team won their national final in April.
