Perse team places second in national General Knowledge event
The Perse’s Junior General Knowledge team came second in the national finals of Schools Challenge this weekend.
The Year 7 and 8 team of Henry Proudfoot, Oliver Brigstocke, Inigo Hunnable, Jong-Ihn Chung, and Daniel Morgan were worthy runners-up to a strong team from Haberdashers’ Aske’s.
More than 200 schools took part in the competition. The Perse team was one of eight in the national finals held at Dulwich Prep School on Sunday. They put in an excellent performance beating King Edward’s (Birmingham) and Lancaster on the day, but were pipped to first prize by the Haberdashers’ team in the final round.
