Pelican transformed into gallery for art and design exhibition
16 May 2013
A stunning stegosaurus was one of the impressive pieces on display at the Pelican’s art and design exhibition. Transformed into a gallery, the School showcased castles, garden art, and a huge variety of colourful collages and paintings.
Parents were treated to a special evening preview of the displays. They perused the galleries to the sound of the Year 7 violin quartet, fresh from reaching the finals of the National Pro Corda Chamber Musicians competition.
The following day the exhibition opened to pupils and Perse staff, many of whom would have liked to take some of the pieces home with them.
The children were justifiably proud of their creations, and after they had eagerly found their own masterpiece they enjoyed looking at the work of all their Pelican friends.
