Technologists relish Rotary challenge
Earlier this month The Perse School entered two teams of budding Technologists in the Cambridge Rotary Club Technology Challenge.
Our pupils were tasked to design and build a vehicle which would travel up a slope powered only by 200g of ballast in the form of a bag of sand. In addition, they had to design a portfolio detailing their design considerations. All this had to be done in under three hours.
Both teams did very well to get their vehicles made in the allotted time and every pupil enjoyed the pressure of thinking of their feet and the challenge of working together as a team.
