A Trip to Neverland for 7T
30 Jan 2013
Towards the end of last term 7T raised a lot of money (and had a lot of fun) dressing up as characters from Peter Pan.
They were raising money for Great Ormond Street Hospital and thought it was fitting to take Peter Pan as their fancy dress inspiration, seeing as the book’s author JM Barrie had given the rights to the story to the Great Ormond Street charity.
Members of the form came to school as pirates (including Captain Hook), red Indians, lost boys and fairies (including tinkerbell). The form tutors got in on the act as well with Miss Clarkson dressing up as Wendy and Dr Watson as the crocodile.
The form appeared briefly in the whole school assembly during their day and went round the school encouraging donations. They have managed to raise almost £400 so far and would be very grateful for any further donations on their fundraising page – http://www.justgiving.com/persepeterpan.
