Pelican Science Week!
25 Oct 2012
The Pelican Science Week was a great success, with different exciting activities taking place throughout the week and all over the school.
The whole school enjoyed a fabulous Mad Science Assembly and saw the amazing reaction when a mint was dropped into a bottle of coke!
In classes, with the help of visitors from NAPP and the Babraham Institute, the children experimented with microscopes, extracted the DNA from an onion and made (and ate!) their own ice cream in the school hall. They also enjoyed visits to the Upper school Technology department to try rocket making!
It was a brilliant week – as can be seen from the gallery of photos below.
