The 42 – ‘Nut Job: Allergies and Life’

12 Sep 2012

The 42 started its programme of lunchtime speakers with a talk from Dr Andrew Clark , a Consultant in Paediatric Allergy at Addenbrookes Clinic, given to a packed lecture theatre which included several of his patients.

He presented a brilliant powerpoint (which included images, interviews and a news segment) which explored the increasing prevalence of allergies; explaining both the science and their impact on everyday life.

Several parents enjoyed his talk too, and there was lively question and answer session at the end. It was great to have somebody at the top of their field explaining their research and the current state of thinking in this area – and was a fantastic start to this term’s exciting programme.
