GCSE and A level Art Show
3 Jul 2012
The annual Perse Art Show was a great success again this year with over 200 parents and pupils attending. Pupils showed a broad range of artwork including assemblage sculpture, large scale textile hangings, film, painting and printmaking.
Sir James Horton, president of the Royal Society of British Artists, selected three pieces of A level artwork by Shane Orme and Angus Osborne for the regional round of the Young British Artists' Competition. If successful, they will be selected to represent Britain's most skilled A level artists at the Mall Galleries annual exhibition in October 2012.
