Literary Society: Dickens’ bicentenary

To celebrate Dickens' bicentenary, Professor Andrew Sanders gave a thoroughly engaging, highly detailed and wide-ranging talk on Dickens' novels. Professor Sanders is a lead figure in the studies of Dickens and Victorian Literature​ and was a member of the academic staff in the English department at the University of Durham. Fifty students and staff attended this exciting literary event and left enthused about Dickens’ work and its relevance to 21st century life.
